Hi-Lo Charters & Riverside Lodge is a full-service guide and lodging provider for the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. Our specialty is King Salmon Fishing on the Kenai River, but we offer a full range of planning and fishing resources.
Why Kenai? The answer is simple for most anglers: the Kenai river serves as home to the largest King Salmon in the world. In the summer of 1985 an angler on the Kenai River shattered the world record for King Salmon. Weighing in at 97 pounds 4 ounces, the salmon was a monster of a fish, and the record has withstood the test of time. Flash forward 20+ years and people are still looking to defeat that record.

These include: Pacific halibut, silver salmon, rainbow trout, sockeye salmon, and many more. We are a family operation aiming to provide the best service possible on the Kenai River and surounding areas. Hi-Lo Charters has been in business for over 20 years, and we, as a family, have been coming to the Kenai to fish for over 25 years. King Salmon fishing is a passion of ours, and we hope to instill that passion in all of those who come to visit. In the beginning, we came only to fish for these monsters, but as we kept coming to the Kenai Peninsula every year, we explored other Alaskan fisheries and activities. What we found was a wonderland for both the fishermen and the outdoorsmen in all of us.
There is nothing like hooking a King Salmon, and it would be our pleasure to help you catch one of these amazing fish. Tuesday through Saturday, for the entire month of July, we have two King Salmon fishing guides who are among the best on the river. All guides employed by Hi-Lo Charters are proven fishermen and are handpicked to provide the best possible service to our customers. Our goal is to make your trip to Alaska as enjoyable as possible.
Once you are done fishing or sightseeing, you can relax at our lodge. We are located right on the river, with easy access to both the Kenai Airport (ENA), the city of Kenai, and the city of Soldotna. You can literally be at the airport, a grocery store, or fishing on the Kenai river within 10 minutes of leaving your room.
