The Kenai river serves as a home to the largest King Salmon in the world. In the summer of 1985 the greatest King Salmon yet to be caught was reeled in on the Kenai. Weighing in at 97 pounds 4 ounces, the salmon was a monster of a fish. Flash forward 20+ years and people are still looking to defeat that record.
